National Chapters

In an effort to enhance the research efforts of the scientists at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, The Buoniconti Fund has established volunteer Chapters throughout the country. These Chapters are an important element to reaching The Miami Project’s goal -- a cure for paralysis.

Dedicated volunteers, many of whom are spinal cord injured (SCI) or have a family member afflicted by SCI, draw upon their individual communities and resources to create greater awareness and raise additional funds on a grassroots level.

The Chapters raise awareness and funds through various fundraising events that differ from city to city. Some Chapter fundraisers have included Wine Tastings, Poker and Casino Nights, Comedy Nights, Bar-B-Ques, Happy Hours, Golf Tournaments, Reverse Raffles, Cocktail Receptions, Silent & Live Auctions and more.
